Asur is a hidden gem. Even though I had some idea about it's plot after reading the imdb page yet how the show tells the story just captivated me. It tells the story of Dhananjay Rajpoot[Arsad Warsi](DJ): a forensic science expert, Nikhil Nair[Barun Sobti]: DJ's student and a forensic expert himself and Subh: a person who thinks he is an asur(demon).

The story was initially slow paced but quickly picked up after 3rd episode. Arshad Warsi's performance is brilliant. He showed his real talent in this show. Barun Sobti too had a great part.

The show is a great mixture of modern science and Hindu mythology. The way the entire show is portrayed is well beyond what is usually expected of such series. The show is very less cringe compared to what was expected of it.

The darkness of the characters and the way the series was filmed is a perfect cinematic delight. It is a must watch and a must recommended series.
