EXTRACTION (2020 FILM)

The movie has a predictable story, plot & can be considered as one-time movie. Every movie under the banner of Netflix doesn't need to be a great movie. We should admit this fact.

Why should we watch this movie?

- Brilliant cinematography, fantastic action scenes and beautiful direction.

If you are looking for some great story, drama, or suspense. then sorry this is not for you.

There is a lot of mind-blowing action scenes. The fight scenes don't look fake, no exaggeration & highly intense. Hats off to its cinematography for doing the best job. The direction is impressing but we Indians want spice & tragedy in every movie/ series we watch on Netflix.

Chris Hemsworth is sexy & apt for this role.

The supporting cast did a nice job but no one gets noticed easily when you watch this movie.

The kid in the movie named ‘Ovi Mahajan’ has been the best role. His bond with Hemsworth is good but they could have shown their relationship better than what I expect throughout the movie.

The beginning is really nice, but somehow the middle part remains blank, blur or less appealing. The climax is good but not great, It’s an one-time watch movie. but a fabulous action one.

Spoiler Alert –

Story - A boy named ‘Ovi Mahajan’ is hanging out with friends at the club, And he & his mate goes out of the club and smoke a cigarette and suddenly cops intrude and ask them what are they doing? The cop shoots his friend and abducts him. Then, Randeep Hooda gets to know about this incident, anxiously he visits the prison where his (Ovi’s father) is imprisoned. His father is a gangster been jailed for a quite long time and Saju (randeep) is supposed to look after his son.

On the other side, Tyler (Chris Hemsworth) is chilling in the mountains in Australia.

His friend explains about the deal he shall be offered to rescue Ovi Mahajan which is locked in Dhaka(Bangladesh) Tyler and his team set up a plan and later on implement the plan. The Saju not giving a damn about his own family plans to go to Dhaka as he makes a promise to Ovi’s father to get him back.

In Dhaka, The kidnapper abducts Tyler and brings him where Ovi is locked. Asking him ransom money so that he can safely take him back to his place. The deal gets suspended and Tyler breaks every gang member balls and rescues him(ovi) from that place. The Dhaka’s mafia named Amir asif orders the topmost cops to get the situation under control and get the boy back. The saju (Randeep Hooda) intervenes in the matter meantime Ovi explains he is the one who works for his dad. But Tyler refuses his words and tells him that he had betrayed you & us and now he is with rivals. Later on Tyler realizes saju is just helping him and had no idea about the deal. Meanwhile, lots of chaos between Tyler, Saju and the rivals happen and then the tyler is about to meet his team on the bridge where they can safely take these people out of Dhaka. In the Climax, defending Ovi’s life both Tyler and saju lose their life and Ovi gets rescue safely by Tyler's team. The amir just sees the situation through binocular and his face has really turned down.

In the end, there is a scene of Amir going into the bathroom where he seeing one of Tyler’s teams, smirking him pulling the trigger exactly to his head. Assasinating at the spot.
